There are two categories of editors at editEon:

Our editors must possess the following skill sets/qualifications:

• Must have completed or attended a PhD, MS, MD, MCh, DS or equivalent course at a top university (studies conducted, papers written/published, papers reviewed, etc.)
• Certificate/experience in academic editing, publishing, scientific communication, journal article writing, etc.
• A master copy editor and expert in various documentation styles (such as APA, CMS, AMA, MLA, IEEE, etc.)
• Proficient in MS Word and at least one other software application, such as InDesign or Publisher
• Should be a member of acclaimed editing and publishing associations like EFA, EASE, BELS, etc.

Qualities we prefer in our editors

• Proficiency and competence in the most widely spoken language across the world - English!
• Knack for diligently editing, restructuring, and polishing articles written by non-native speakers, with least 5 years of relevant copyediting/academic editing experience.
• Extensive subject matter expertise

Our Editors should have these responsbilities

• Immaculate grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and word choice
• Must be dedicated to providing our clients with the world's finest, most professional editing
• Should preserve the author's intended meaning even in papers where the content requires extensive revision
